    Great – thanks Mike. In the meantime, any names re brokers? I have seen Singer, Matrix and Winterflood recommended, but their websites look very corporate.

      In the secondary market, you don’t need to use specialists. When I was last buying and selling VCTs, I used my regular brokers which at the time were SelfTrade (when they were owned by SG) and Hargreaves Lansdown.

      Next time I plan to look at the cheapest brokers (iWeb and DeGiro) plus people I have existing accounts with (like HL and YouInvest).
