Robot Watch – a new blog
Today we’re announcing the launch of a new blog, called Robot Watch.
Robot Watch
Regular readers will remember that a couple of weeks ago I was talking about the books I’d taken on holiday.

One of these was The Rise of the Robots by Martin Ford. I found this book fascinating, and it has awakened my interest in all things robotic.
- So much so that I’ve decided to launch another blog on the subject, and it’s live from today.
The new blog is called Robot Watch, and it will cover robots and automation in the widest sense possible.
As well as physical robots (the ones on legs and wheels that you see in the movies) we’ll also cover:
- automation
- artificial intelligence and machine learning, including The Singularity
- intelligent assistants
- the internet of things
- driverless cars and drones
- wearable tech
- 3D printing and additive manufacturing
- nanotechnology and molecular assembly
- the future of work, education and healthcare
We’ll also take a look robots in the media – films, TV and books.
And along the way we’ll keep an eye out for investment opportunities and implications.
- If you can think of anything that we aren’t covering but should be, please let me know.
So please head on over and take a look.
- There’s a twice-weekly newsletter that you can sign up for on the site.
The site is primarily a news aggregator at the moment, but we’ll be adding more editorial over time.
- The new blog won’t write itself (not yet anyway) and as I’m already pretty busy with 7 Circles, I am looking for collaborators to write articles for it.
If you might be interested please let me know, either in the comments below, or on RobotWatch itself.
- You can also send me an email, or DM me on Twitter.
